CABINETRY, VANITIES AND CUSTOM BUILT-IN UNITS

We have vast experience in restoring and painting kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities as well as custom built wall units. We take great care in proper preparation prior to priming and applying finish coats so that the completed project is one to be proud of.

WALLPAPER REMOVAL

We remove all types of wallpaper, but the key is to also remove the paste that’s left behind. If you’re painting the walls after the paper removal, any residue of paste can “bleed” through the paint or in fact cause the paint to “crack” over time. This is why I always recommend oil priming the surfaces prior to applying finish coats of paint. Of  course proper preparation of the wall is completed prior to priming:  repairing imperfections with spackle, re-taping corners, etc.

MOLDING, RAISED PANELING, COFFERED CEILINGS, ETC

Once again  preparation is the key to a smooth professional finish on all your wood work. Properly filling nail holes and imperfections, sanding , caulking and cleaning the surface prior to applying finish coats ensures the perfect result.

SHEETROCK REPAIR

The most common repairs to sheetrock is due to water damage, leaking pipes, roofing problems, ice dam, etc. Whatever the case, once the issue is addressed we can remove the damaged area and install new sheetrock, tape, spackle and re-paint the affected area.

STAIRCASE HANDRAILS

Regardless of whether or not you have a new or older existing handrail we can provide a “new” look to enhance your staircase. One of our specialties is to take a light or neutral colored handrail and inexpensivly turn it into a classic beauty.  Check out our photo gallery for some “before and afters”
